And we believe that our clients deserve our respect.

Our Commitment to You – We care

Our clients place a high value on our honest and straightforward approach. They know that when they have a problem, our frank and honest assessment of the situation can help them make the right decision. Unlike some other law firms, we will never just tell a prospective client what that person wants to hear in order to get the person to retain our firm. That is a poor foundation for a long, trusting, and successful relationship.

Meet Jerry

After graduating from Yale Law School in 1974, attorney Gerald F. Posner returned to his home town of Detroit, Michigan to practice law with his parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Posner, in the firm of Posner, Posner and Posner, representing real people with real legal problems. While many of his classmates admirably went into public service (including President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, two current Justices of the United States Supreme Court, two judges of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, numerous other judges, and well-known federal appointees), Jerry decided to return to Detroit not only to practice in the family firm with its history of service to the people of the Detroit area and the State of Michigan, but because he had a passion to use his education and skills to represent and obtain justice for real people who needed legal representation in both the trial courts and the appellate courts. It was a decision he never regretted.
